ADISURC
The Azienda per il diritto allo Studio Universitario (ADISURC) is the instrumental body of the Campania Region tasked with ensuring interventions to support students’ academic success, prioritizing capable and deserving individuals who lack financial means. The benefits provided to a population of over 180,000 students consist of financial aid, accommodation, and catering services. Support for academic success also includes direct interventions aimed at encouraging individual and collective development, countering potential situations of isolation, and promoting opportunities for social gathering, socialization, and sports activities.
In the 2026 edition of the European Universities Games (EUG 2026), the Agency is collaborating on the logistical and organizational management of the event, operating in coordination with the University of Salerno and the Salerno University Sports Committee (CUS Salerno). The University Residences located on the Fisciano and Baronissi Campuses have been temporarily designated as the Games Village to host participants, providing rooms equipped with amenities such as personal hygiene kits, air conditioning, and network connection.
Concurrently, the Fisciano Campus cafetteria, which features over 1,200 seats, ensures the preparation and distribution of daily meals for university sports delegations. This is done through menus tailored to the nutritional requirements of athletic performance, integrated with environmental sustainability protocols mandated by collective catering guidelines. A temporary facility will also be active within the Baronissi Campus to provide meals intended specifically for referees and match officials.
The catering service will continue to be available to students, researchers, professors, and university employees who utilize the service during the academic year at both the Fisciano and Baronissi Campuses.
To ensure the full functionality of the facilities, the Agency for the Right to Education implemented and funded renovation, adaptation, and redevelopment interventions in the months preceding the event. At the conclusion of the 2026 European Universities Games, the technological upgrades, extraordinary maintenance, and energy efficiency works performed on the structures will remain available to the student community for ordinary use.
